Shrager Defense Attorneys is happy to announce its 2025 scholarship. The scholarship will be awarded to one student applicant in the amount of $2,500.

All eligible applicants will be considered, and the recipient of the scholarship will be chosen based upon their submitted essay.  As described below, the deadline for submission is October 15, 2025 and the winner will be announced on or before November 15, 2025.

Essay Topic: A Moment That Changed You

Reflect on a single moment, encounter, or decision in your academic journey that profoundly changed your perspective or direction. Why was it so impactful, and how has it influenced your personal or career goals?

Eligibility Information

In order to apply for this scholarship, the applicant must:

  • Currently be enrolled in a course of study at any accredited college or university (undergraduate or graduate degree program) anywhere in the United States, and
  • Hold a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Application Information and Submission Deadline

Please do NOT directly contact the office in regard to the scholarship – all correspondence must be sent to scholarships@shragerdefense.com.

To apply for the 2025 scholarship, please submit the following to scholarships@shragerdefense.com by October 15, 2025.

  • Resume with updated contact information;
  • Your spring or summer 2025 educational transcript;
  • A 500-750 word essay describing the topic discussed above.

Awarding the Scholarship

The winner will be notified on November 15, 2025. The scholarship check will be sent directly to the winner’s university’s or college’s financial aid office.
